Do not submit mirror sites. Mirror sites are sites that contain identical content, but have altogether different URLs. In these cases the submission will be rejected and in addition the original listing will be removed.
Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory. Sites with overlapping and repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.
We have a policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content.
Do not submit sites "under construction." Wait until a site is complete before submitting it.
Template sites which are identical in design with exception of name, address, phone etc. will not be accepted.
We do not accept porn, gambling, payday loan, escort, 'fly by night' sites selling prescription drugs, MFA sites, sites with to much 'in your face advertising or what I fondly refer to as the internet version of TV infomercials. In general any site not providing something which I consider worthwhile or in not G rated (family friendly) will not be accepted.
As with all submissions spam and keyword stuffing will not be tolerated so write your titles and descriptions carefully. Titles are limited to 50 characters, listing descriptions are limited to 200 characters and details page descriptions are limited to 900 characters. Since payments are for site review and not to purchase a link no refunds will be made in cases where the submission is declined.
Website URL is not allowed in title, description or details page descriptions.
Titles which are in all upper or lower case or otherwise not written with capital 1st letters will be rejected.
Examples - website is CellPhoneAccessories.com:
BAD - CELL PHONE ACCESSORIES; cell phone accessories; Cool Stuff For Sale; Cheap Cell Phone Accessories
GOOD - Cell Phone Accessories
Exceptions - Scould the domain name be an acronym or a persons name such as PVA.org might have a title like Paralyzed Veterans of America or SamSmyth.com could be Sam Smyth - A Travel Blog
With very few exceptions only top level (www.mydomain.com). submissions are accepted and this holds true for subdomains. We do offer limited deep linking. Multiple submissions will result in ALL listings for that resource being removed. Violators, spammers and keyword stuffers are subject to being blacklisted and/or IP blocking.
All submitted sites must be English language or offer a clear, easy to locate translation on the home page option translation.
Titles and descriptions Must be in English.
I reserve the right to edit both titles and descriptions and/or choose the best category for the submitted resource.
I know that is a rather long list. The point I am trying to make is that should I feel in any way that the submitted resource will not have a positive effect it will be rejected. When it is a close call the final decision could be based on design, ease of navigation or general user experience (I know that is subjective but so be it). I am the final judge in all cases what is accepted and where it is listed.
