We have decided that we will move to youtube and make video reviews there. This way we can post much faster. Over time once we grow a larger fanbase we may go back to having the site up again. Until then check us out on youtube by searching Pixie Perspective!

Before I actually get into this review, I’d like to say that I think NBC sucks for canceling such a show before the season actually ended. NBC’s “The Cape,” which released early this year, had so much going for it. It had action, drama, tension, and cool stunts. I don’t care why NBC decided to cancel this show, I just wish that they’d bring it back. If you are into the “Batman,” genre of superhero archetypes, you’ll love this show. Michael Faraday (David Lyons) is an awesome new superhero called, “The Cape,” and when it comes to vigilante’s he is one awesome badass.

According to all my friends I am in the minority for people who have not seen Big Trouble in Little China. It’s really hard to watch an 80’s action comedy these days without it being too cheesy. As a kid they are always highly enjoyable and I had to force myself to keep an open mind since it’s from another era. Oh how special effects have spoiled us!

Let’s get back on the romantic comedy wagon with No Strings Attached starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. It’s about being friend’s with benefits and instead of the girl being clingly and wanting a relationship it’s the guy. This sounds more like what is going on in the world today and that the younger generation can relate to.

Last year my Pixie Twin reviewedthe bestselling game for the XBOX Kinect. I am so excited that now Harmonix has released the sequel, Dance Central 2. This game is so fantastic and really takes the title series to the next level. With all new moves, music, and game play, what’s not to love about it. I first played this game at this year’s NYC Comic Con. I had to own it, and thanks to my hubby, I have not stopped dancing since he bought this for me. Christmas definitely came early at our home.
